(8,887 posts). . . but if you think for one minute that the NYPD doesn't cite that revenue stream as a budgetary offset in its own annual proposed budget proposals to the mayor's office, think again.

In another thread I pondered if the crime rates were linked to the arrest rate. If so, they were inflating the crime rate to justify their budget and back up the myth that they're on the front lines of a war zone instead of a neighborhood.
Life is MUCH more boring than it is on TV. There are cops who have served 30 years on the force who have never had to draw their gun.

- Dumping about 90% of these asshats should about do it. And then call up the National Guard (as long as they aren't former NYPD). No telling what that many unemployed psychopaths might do immediately after.
Later, after a few weeks of the REAL WORLD they can apply for work at INGSOC.....
