Laura PourMeADrink
(42,770 posts)is referring to. Could be spectator. I can't imagine even in my most tongue-tied moments using the word gladiator - for ANYTHING.

(1,020 posts)I have no idea what the "1915 kind of breakout of the Middle East" quote is even referring to. That was in the middle of WWI with the Ottomans controlling most of the Middle East at that time. Lawrence of Arabia was not even active yet so the Arab revolt was in it's infancy at best in 1915.

(35,699 posts)The negotiation of the treaty occurred between November 1915 and March 1916.[2] The agreement was concluded on 16 May 1916.[3]
Jebbie gets half credit for the question for getting the date approximately right even as his description of the actual event was quite muddled. Unless it is an AP History course. Then he fails.

Unfortunately, I don't see this moron getting the GOP nomination.Way too much like his dumbass brother, whose legacy as the worst president ever is etched in stone.

(11,913 posts)I don't know that there is much that will stop them from installing him as their candidate. We just have to do whatever We The People possibly can do to make sure our candidate -- whomever he/she may be -- receives an overwhelming tally of both popular and electoral votes. Crush 'em at the polls!!!

(39,405 posts)this is what you get.
If somebody is rich because they made the money themselves, they may be smarter, more creative, and more hard-working than the rest of us, but Republicans who inherited money and decided that entitles them to run for office are doing everything they can to prove those virtues are not hereditary.

(39,405 posts)They see stupid, successful, and rich, and figure that since they are stupid too, it is an asset not a liability to becoming successful and rich.
They don't realize that W, Jeb, Mitt, Steve Forbes, and on and on are successful IN SPITE of being stupid not BECAUSE of, and their wealth is entirely the work of someone else.

(5,733 posts)The truly frightening part is that, with multiple reads and the insertion of numerous commas and other punctuation, you can squeeze a penny's worth of coherent thought out of Sarah Palin's ramblings. But this? Dude's got NOTHING!

(459 posts)So, you see, this guy is even dumber than his brother. Idiocracy is going to happen to America . This is most probably the next president, especially with the enormous money behind this DERP...Better be ready voters, the voting rights are going to go away and gerrymandering will be used to get this guy in. The fix is almost in place...

(11,085 posts)Saturday Night Live won't need to write skits for President Jeb, just repeat what he actually says. (I'm thinking Beck Bennett, the one who does the adult baby, as Jeb "the gladiator" Bush. Maybe they could bring in Tina Fey as Sarah Palin to interpret what he says.)

(2,012 posts)titled Jeb Bush Dazzles writes about Repub governors: "The comparison to Jeb Bush on foreign policy may make or break other candidates." She's always so right; he will surely knock out all the other governors. Let's hope Jeb will add more women to his fine list of campaign experts, like Liz Cheney, Ann Coulter, Sarah Palin, and Jennifer Rubin.
Is this someones sad idea of a joke. He cant be that dumb.
