Leonard Nimoy - Sunny

This is off his 1968 album "The Way I Feel", which is quite good. Not like Shatner's dreck from the 60s (although Shatner's "Has Been" from 2004 was EXCELLENT).

Rest in peace, sir. Live long and prosper.

1. Thanks!

A nice tribute. I had never heard him sing.

2. Not the World's Greatest Voice,

but with a famous name and a great orchestral arrangement, not bad. It seems like Leonard Nimoy has a great group of supremely devoted fans here on DU. And it's amazing all the things Leonard Nimoy did besides play Dr. Spock on Star Trek. I think one of my favorite non-ST roles that Leonard Nimoy played was that of the pop psychologist on the remake of "The Body Snatchers"; in the end I believe he revealed himself to be one of the "pod people". Anyway, that role fit him to a "T", and obviously drew on his established Dr. Spock persona.

3. Indeed..

His photography was great as well...

He had a knack for catching the human essence... When I was into model b&w photography, he was one of my influences.

4. Although, this is one of my favorite photos he did.

A self-poirtrait in the mid-2000s. If I remember correctly, this was shot on AGFA 400. One of my preferred films back in the day.
