1. My turn to imagine
Imagine that Congress, instead of inviting demagogues (Bibi) to speak, brought in an ayahuasca shaman to give them all a foretaste of their eternal destiny - and by extension their effect upon others around the world and the world itself.

3. Sounds to me like the speaker may have been depressed.
Some psychedelics are known to have striking benefits
in this regard. His spiritual awakening may have been due, in part, to a brain chemistry reset. I've thought about gambling on getting my cobwebs similarly cleared. Nah. I guess I'll never know. |

4. I think a good part of humanity is depressed.
Whether they know it or not.
And he says exactly that...he got a reset, but I am not sure it was brain chemistry sense DMT is in our brain already. The reset in psychedelics is in consciousness...and that is hard to explain unless you have experienced it. But not all people can take that experience well, but for most it is a real revelation. |

5. The active components of psilocybin mushrooms have also been found to treat alcoholism
and other addictions. The drugs potential as treatment to alcoholism is also similar to results found in relation to LSD in the 1950s and 60s.
There are also studies which include reports of psilocybin mushrooms sending both obsessive-compulsive disorders (OCD) and OCD-related clinical depression (both being widespread and debilitating mental health conditions) into complete remission immediately and for up to months at a time. :Wiki |

12. I wonder what "banned Ted talk" means, exactly?
I've seen it before, but, banned where? I wonder.
