Does the Obama team think the Gingrich voters are up for grabs? Or are they trying to get them to stay home?

there's no way Obama could attack Mitt's character so directly, but here is Mitt doing it for him. I want to hear the howling from the GOP and the media, "how dare Obama attack Mitt's character!". But it's not Obama, it's Newt, saying these things.

Also the fact that Newt is now endorsing Mitt has got to be demoralizing to the right wing. Reminding them of what he said just a couple of months ago just reminds the conservative voters how phony their leaders are.
