- It's like having an Aristotle or Socrates in our times that you can dial-up on Youtube to see what insight he has today. Too few hear him. All of Washington be listening to him. But nimrods like Cruz and Gohmert wouldn't have a clue about what he's talking about.

He's not as radical as I am though. I can't hold my equanimity very long anymore. I don't have the patience I once did. But as with Elizabeth Warren, all the great teachers have the ability to remain calm and clear in their thoughts and words amongst the ignorant.

In fact, that ability is probably a teacher's greatest asset......

If you feel the nation's political process no longer represents your concerns you should consider alternative perspectives.

Most of the nation is fed up. But they're torn between several sets of highly effective propaganda. I am sick about what has happened to the nation.

I believe Chomsky's every word.

It's very hard to ignore this when you see it with your own eyes. After the President told us we would, "Look forward." I was on alert. I was aware the nation had been transformed with the election theft in 2,000 and the 9/11 event but when we held no one accountable for the Iraq invasion when there was evidence of a conspiracy right in front of our eyes I knew the jig was up.

We are in deep shit, people.

We are in seriously deep shit !!!!!!!!!

The United States government is a terrorist organization.

They do exactly what they want, when they want, to whomever they want.

They have no regard for the law or accountability.

1. I find it hilarious how so many people scream out about RT being Putin's propaganda vehicle, never once considering the fact that every single media outlet is a perspective of someone, and is not the TRUTH. They have become so brainwashed that they never consider the idea that their knee-jerk reaction to RT is a ''programmed'' response. They've fallen completely for the ''American Tale.''

2. You know that your message is getting through when the brainwashed, the bullies, the sycophants and the so-called ''leaders'' begin to see you as a threat to their dominance.

- 3. Everything is as it should be. That is the way of life. We may not like it, but it can be no other way. We created this, and only we can ''undo'' it.......

listen to Mr. Noam Chomsky.

I can not give him enough praise !!!

If the TRUE history of the world is written, it will not be kind to the U.S. !!!

If I were ever asked what is the greatest threat to world peace,

my answer would be the United States.

It will be a sad day when we lose this intelligent man.

It was a sad day when we lost Mr. Howard Zinn.

Both are national treasures.

They were and are truth tellers !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

...it's in their DNA.

- It's we who need to read it.......

''For every heretic it burned at the stake, thousands of others rose up. Why was that? Because the Inquisition kills its enemies in the open, and killed them while they were still unrepentant; in fact, it killed them because they were unrepentant. Men were dying because they would not abandon their true beliefs. Naturally all the glory belonged to the victim and all the shame to the Inquisitor who burned him.

We do not merely destroy our enemies, we change them. Do you understand what I mean by that? When finally you surrender to us, it must be of your own free will. We do not destroy the heretic because he resists us: so long as he resists us we never destroy him. We convert him, we capture his inner mind, we reshape him.''
~George Orwell, 1984

Some are born that way...but still others are made that way by environmental factors...but the end is the same.

And that quote is very important to understand, and that is exactly what they attempt to do only in a more gentle way of persuasion than a rat cage on the face...although it could come to that eventually.

14. '' the US retains a democratic veneer''
Sun Apr 19, 2015, 03:07 AM
Apr 2015

Chomsky said the so-called American Dream and US democracy are in “very serious decline,” as social mobility is among the worst among the richest nations. He added that, formally, the US retains a democratic veneer, but actual manifestations of democracy are dwindling.

Naom Chomsky is one of the superstars of the intellectual world; a prolific author and self-proclaimed anarchist, who, at the age of 86 still doesn’t seem to be slowing down. He still rails against a whole host of perceived injustices, with the West generally in his line of fire. Isabelle Kumar of Euronews interviewed him about terrorism, Cuba and the future of Europe.

Isabelle Kumar: “The world in 2015 seems a very unsettled place but if we take a big picture view do you feel optimistic or pessimistic about the general state of play?”

Noam Chomsky: “In the global scene we are racing towards a precipice which we are determined to fall over which will sharply reduce the prospects for decent survival.”

Isabelle Kumar: “What precipice is that?”

Noam Chomsky: “There are actually two, one is environmental catastrophe which is imminent and we don’t have a lot of time to deal with it and we are going the wrong way, and the other has been around for 70 years, the threat of nuclear war, which is in fact increasing. If you look at the record it is a miracle we have survived.”

Isabelle Kumar: “Let’s look at the environmental issues, we have asked our social media audience to send in questions and we have hordes of questions. We received this question from Enoa Agoli who asks, when you look at this issue of the environment and you look at it through a philosopher’s lens, what do you think about climate change?”

Noam Chomsky: “The human species has been around for maybe a 100,000 years and it is now facing a unique moment in its history. This species is now in a position where it will decide very soon, in the next few generations, whether the experiment in so-called intelligent life will proceed or are we determined to destroy it? I mean scientists overwhelmingly recognise that most of the fossil fuels have to be left in the ground if our grandchildren are going to have decent prospects. But the institutional structures of our society are pressuring to try to extract every drop. The effects, the human consequences, of the predicted effects of climate change in the not very distant future, are catastrophic and we are racing toward that precipice.”

Isabelle Kumar: “In terms of nuclear war we see the prospect of this Iran deal has reached a preliminary agreement. Does that provide you with a glimmer of hope that the world could potentially be a safer place?”

Noam Chomsky: “I’m in favour of the Iran negotiations but they are profoundly flawed. There are two states that rampage in the middle east carrying out aggressions, violence, terrorist acts, illegal acts, constantly. They’re both huge nuclear weapon states and their nuclear armorments. And their nuclear weapons are not being considered.”
