How to Kill Your Weekend

The movie "The Avengers" opens today. I know this because my five children have mentioned this to me about 837 times already. I get the impression that they want to see it.

But if you go and see "The Avengers," please note that the movie is only 2 hours and 22 minutes long. And the weekend is roughly 63 hours long. What are you going to do for the other 60 hours and 38 minutes?

For those of you with artistic talent, you can spend the time to create and submit an image or video entry in our contest, "It's Your Campaign." Because you want us to win. And also, because there are prizes: $500 for the best campaign image, and $1,000 for the best campaign video. Just click here. We’ve seen some great stuff this month, like the image below.

Or, if you’re like me, and you have no talent whatsoever, you’ll have to find some other way to contribute to our efforts. Like clicking on that blue button below. Remember the old saying: "From each according to his abilities . . . ."

Remind me, who said that?

Courage,

Alan Grayson
