Something troubling about all this, but there's no determined effort, especially on the part of our presstitute media, to not investigate what's going on. Go back to sleep, citizen....Zzzzz.

OMG - Why not just a warning? All those cops
wasting their time on petty "crimes" while so much
else is going on in Baltimore. And, people wonder
why cops are hated.

also in cuffs? The weed whacker lying on the ground beside the steps leads one to believe that the guy might have been doing yard work rather than gambling.

And if a citation was all that was necessary, why the cuffs and six police officers?

A lot of questions here that civic minded people might want answered.

but all the people they are talking to on their phones and radios, and the cops who pull up in the paddy wagon/torture van.
The police seem to have money to burn.

I'm glad that they released the guy, but I fear for everyone's safety once the camera crew is gone.

people are gambling every day like that man was doing. This is the same level of harassment as the unlicensed cigarette ploy that killed Eric Garner. These phone cameras are very useful and that man is very, very lucky. White cops and black citizens? Oil and water, don't mix. I noticed how the black cops deescalated the tension quickly. Says a lot to me.

Poor baby pig, you have to treat people like humans.

I think it is the same pig who made the crack at the end about being accused of "illegally detaining a black man"

I've said it before and I will say it again, cops are the biggest bunch of whinny titty babies.

when the SHTF, and being black or white. monied or poor won't be the primary consideration. Those armoured cars didn't do a lot to allay the impression, either.

Funny the ringleader didn't like the thought of starring on YouTube. Life is full of reversals of fortune, isn't it? Oh, to suffer so, the Slings and Arrows of outrageous Fortune ! Never mind, Little Boy Blue. All come out in the wash.

shoot everyone videoing them and claim they were rioting.
There is something very wrong with the mentality of police in that video.

With the weed whacker, lawn mower and stuff, I'd say that was pretty good evidence the man was doing yard work when the cops showed up. The gambling charge did not happen until they found the money on him.
The money went away when the cops did. I did not see anything to indicate a receipt was signed for the money. Theft by cop? AmIrite?

in this fiasco. Since money seems to be so all-fired important to conservatives, perhaps they should consider how much it costs the taxpayers for a big cluster of police to harass citizens in this manner.

I think conservatives should have a more honest meme:

"ALL MONEY matters!"

I don't think there is any segment of the population in the US that doesn't feel a real sense of fear when they need to interact with them.

It didn't used to be all segments but their terrorism/swat tactics have alienated everyone - well, perhaps except for the extremely wealthy or well-connected.

Seeing those "repurposed" military vehicles rolling through the streets is abhorrent. I'd like to see some of them drive through the gated communities.

SF predicting the collapse of civilization seem particularly pertinent now.

Police have become the enemy of Americans and these cops are proof of that. Lucky for this guy there was cameras present. So, this needs to be done a lot to stop the hate police have for the American people.

…scene because the cops exude resentment and the caged in paranoia they feel from being watched.

It has the atmosphere that if the cameras hadn't been present, he wouldn't have just been arrested, but also roughed up or worse.

I still don't think he's safe. They know who he is, where he lives and I think they'll bide their time.

Same problem this country has had for over four centuries.
