2. HRC's problem? There is no "there" there. She's a shape-shifter.

What is so astounding is that she can get up and categorically deny her actions, speeches, meetings, etc., in support of NAFTA, when there is so much video and documentary evidence giving the lie to those denials.

Her attempt at historical revisionism does not survive the internet.

Reminds one of the classic line from the adulterous husband caught in flagrante delicto, whining "Hey, Baby! Who you gonna believe? Me or your lying eyes?"

(In flagrante delicto is a Latin phrase defined as someone being caught during the act of a crime or sexual act.)

3. This is why I think Sanders actually has a chance.

Compare this to the post showing how Sanders was saying the exactly the same things 26 years ago that he says today. There's no doubt as to what his core beliefs are. HRC seems like an opportunist by comparison, a typical finger-in-the-air politician. People talk about how Sanders can move her to the left. But if she suddenly "finds religion" and embraces more liberal positions, are most people really going to prefer that to someone who has been saying these things for decades? Whether it's NAFTA, IWR, PATRIOT Act, whatever, Sanders has been on the right side all along, and can say that he was right when it counted, whereas HRC often only sees 20/20 in hindsight.

5. As Hillary (as the phrase goes)

moves to the left or is pushed to the left proves to potential voters just how phony she is..She is not a liberal, she is not a Democrat.

Yes Bernie does have a chance.

His rate of fund raising and his consistent message show that his candidacy is for real.

Even Obama would say one thing on the campaign trail and after he was sworn in his actions showed that he might just a well have said"I fooled you folks I'm a corporatist Republican lite" When Obama started making his appointments and all those former Wall Streeters were appointed ,well I knew that Obama was paying back his Wall Street funding fraternity.

So all you Hillary supporters that support her just because you think she is the only chance that Democrats have of winning is not a valid reason. I think Opinions of her is also based on the Media's choice.
Bernie will bring back the liberal voters and Hillary will cause them to stay home on election day.

HRC will say and do ANYTHING to get elected, and then once she is in, will immediately do her corporate masters bidding. What do you call someone who prostitutes themselves?

If anything is going to change, people are going to have to look beyond what appears on their TV screen.

It's become not only acceptable but expected to shrewdly play the game, the end justifies the means.. Place you finger in the wind and find out where your constituents are at then tell em what they want to hear. Delivering on the promises made isn't important, the reward is in playing the game well. The media rarely follows up, so lying well becomes an asset worthy of praise.

This has been going on for so long that even the public accepts it. We really don't expect our representatives to tell us the truth anymore and it's become harder know when they're being sincere or lying their asses off. In the end it's just about winning. We admire winners, tell us anything and as long as you win all sins are forgiven.

The game of lies and deception will continue as long as we're willing to play along.

Everyone is waiting for the Senate to get its 60 votes in and counted before candidates will get on the record and claim they were against it.

"outsourcing will continue"....DLC/Third Way Hillary said so.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/09/07/AR2007090702780.html

When Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton flew to New Delhi to meet with Indian business leaders in 2005, she offered a blunt assessment of the loss of American jobs across the Pacific. "There is no way to legislate against reality," she declared. "Outsourcing will continue. . . . We are not against all outsourcing; we are not in favor of putting up fences."

So which outsourcing IS she against? And who is "we"? The DLC/Third Way/Corporate Dems?

Bernie needs to keep pressing this issue. His track record for supporting US workers is solid.
