Sarpy Outlook TV - In this interview, Lisa Fricke discusses the history, work and focus of Nebraska Appleseed with Executive Director Rebecca Gould. Ms Gould discusses their current efforts in the legislature in support of the poor, the immigrant, particularly the dreamers as well as the broader scope of the organization. The discussion ends with an appeal for volunteers.

Please note that Senator Campbell has been able to negotiate with the Governor regarding his veto and they have achieved a compromise that will make a veto over-ride unnecessary. The ADC payments will be raised a lesser amount than originally in the bill with built in raises over time and at a level deemed by the Governor to be sustainable.
