Give me props. I had to google the Huttese language guide to come up with that one to say, "I want a drink with my meal."

That's a lot if he was just doing pizza and beer. But if he was dining daily at gourmet restaurants, I guess it doesn't seem all that bad. (Who the hell dines daily at gourmet restaurants?)

Nonetheless, I really don't want to hear him and the rest of the GOP bitch about people who have to live on food stamps while they have their snouts in the public trough.

that he would charge his indulgence to the taxpayers of New Jersey.

What does he think that hefty salary is for? Most people have to feed, house, and clothe their entire families on far, far less.

There's only 16 regular season games per year and he has been in office since January 2010. Even if you assume he went to every game possible and a few post season games that is about $1000 per game. I know the food is over priced at the stadiums but that's a lot of money.

...which means he spent $41,500 during 10 games each year (including two pre-season games).

$4,150 per game!

It's like sports stadiums and movie theaters are in competition to see who can bend you over worse at the concession stands.

to skybox seats at Madison Square Garden just over 20 years ago (March 1995 Big East Championship game). I was even told I could order off the menu there, but I felt sick just looking at the prices - it was over $100 for a small pizza. I think I ordered a pretzel that was like $14, and even then it didn't feel right eating a $14 pretzel.

And, that was 20 years ago - I can only imagine how expensive those prices are now. (To top it off, my school, UConn, got hammered by Villanova) It really must take a lot of chutzpah to spend $83,000 in two years.

if you are poor and/or a minority.

If you're a wealthy white male, you can spend taxpayer money like a drunken sailor.

made up mostly of New Jersey's own many of which are transplants- think about it. They call the expenditures a drop in the bucket .

A good number of Christi's friends of the cause-which is a circle of professionals that have greater long term aspirations ,hidden agendas in other words along the lines of catching a lift on Christi's train ,appointments and such.

Some of them are old time party reformers dating back to the young republican reform party.
Those are the worst of them and those that are the most like Christi himself.
They are all deceivers ,bigoted and self serving.

They are also organizers for his campaign wherever they are in the country should Christi's lame train somehow get rolling along.

7 0f 9 comes to mind.

He is trying to gut our pension system by not making the payments. There is a case in the nj supreme court over this. Add in the helicoptering in to his kids games. All of the security from the state police as he travels all over.

I saw this, I thought of Mr. Creosote in the Monty Python movie:
The Meaning of Life and I thought about posting the video.
But when you are bilking the taxpayer's of a state and telling people to "shut up and sit down", you are bound to get what you deserve, because a jerk like him has no compassion ------none---except for his own selfish reason of yourself, and like a true republican he is very Narcissistic.
So for all of you that don't know this movie check out the clips of Mr. Creosote-------Meaning of Life

I hope so. I like Eric Holder but he should have been tougher on things like the Kochroaches illegally dumping toxics into the Crossett AR stream and pet coke on the banks of the Detroit R., just to name 2 recent events.

For such a supposedly progressive site, it amazes me how many people don't find anything wrong with all the fat shaming, weight jokes, and downright nastiness focused at a persons size.

Christie is a hypocrite for unnecessarily spending taxpayer money, but because it was food/drink related, it is okay to display such intolerance on this site? I say shame on you all.

This is why he's campaigning and not rotting in a prison cell somewhere. Had this been some local yolkel it would be a different story.
