It's still amazing that Palin was fooled by such an over-the-top, ridiculous French stereotype.
They kept pushing the gag further and further and she never caught on.
In Sarah's mind, people from France really do sound like Pepe le Pew.

Not even when he said "I saw the biography about you, 'Nailin' Palin', you're really hot too." or something like that. Mrs Palin just giggled.

It was appalling, but so funny it hurt.

but now that we know Sarah a bit better (especially in light of "Game Change&quot , it's even better.
