What about all the data they've already got ? Does anyone think they'll just hand that over and say "oh yeah you can have all this back too". Supposedly is a very key word here. The NSA spied on all the senators who voted against them. After Snowden showed us what they are capable of with PRISM, what other tricks up their sleeve do you think they might have developed since then ?

To think they will do this without having some sly way around it to make so it is still "legal" is naive, and i think it's quite possible that they'll keep right on doing it anyway. So should you.

phone metadata is really much more intrusive and much more capable of abuse. And that collection seems to be growing greatly.
