Official 11 Year Time-lapse Movie of One World Trade Center Construction

Published on May 28, 2015

In recognition of the opening of One World Observatory in New York City, we have released a special edition of our One World Trade Center video. Watch and share this commemorative time-lapse movie showing the completion of construction from October 2004 to Memorial Day 2015. Hundreds of thousands of high definition images were captured over the past 11 years and hand-edited for this exclusive time-lapse movie.

We just don't seem to do any of that any more. No big accomplishments in this country. And the only reason this was done was to spite the terrorist.

We used to build for pride, this was spite.

Still, great to see we can build something in the US. Now, can we build some infrastructure?

I'm not sure that it's to spite the terrorists. The fact that no plan existed to rescue the nearly 3000 people who perished, and that no realistic rescue IS possible in a building that high might have something to do with it.
