Of course they don't call the GOP on it's lies and hypocricy, it's in their best interests to pretend Repugs are real, that they have real policy positions to help mainstream America, and that they give a shit about this country and it's people. Notice anyone putting down the Repug candidates that are purely marginal, hell no. Instead they rag on Bernie who is actually real, who cares and who has policies to promote the general interests of the people of this country and the actual country itself. He's not just out for himself and his own pesonal ability to have power and make money, so 100% different than any Repug out there. They think they have to marginalize him because he's a threat to their power.

I say "Good". They should be threatened by him. Just hope he can truly compete without the big money PAC's. This country needs him.

Republican congress--if wussy Democrats had written their own version of the law, instead of being wussies and adopting our sucky version of it, we wouldn't be able to do this.
In other words...

See how you make me hit you?

Emotional abuse and victim-blaming seems to be their default position for most things, and I'm done being victimized by those who are chosen to protect me. I'm also done with voting for their Enablers.

I'll be voting for Bernie Sanders.

one, two and three things. They want the big bucks that another war somewhere (Russia?Iran?) will bring. And that is the Republican agenda, but we're getting smarter. Hosting parties for the Dems in counties all over the states, standing up against unfair and illegal voter restriction laws, planning ahead to get people to the polls, fighting against those who wish to repeal the ACA and so on. Also, my home paper, The News and Observer/Raleigh,NC, has begun calling some of the Republicans in NC to task.

Thanks for the post, EarlG.

This will work mainly because we have too many corrupt Democrats that prop up the Republican Party instead of tearing them a new one by exposing them on their many nefarious and obviously ridiculous shenanigans.

If we had a solid and cohesive Party that was hell-bent on serving the average American person over the wealthy and the multinationals, they would easily be able to destroy the Republican Party. Easily.

It’s amazing how crass the base is, and how the contemporary conservative has zero qualms about dumbing down or spewing nonsense to appeal to these unprincipled morons. Guess it’s all about the money for their elected officials-donations from the slack jawed yokels to get them into office and even bigger $ from the corrupt corporations and plutocrats when they get into office. Or simply pull a Palin - get yourself a PAC and rake in the dough!

Something has to change. I was recently in Europe and my conversations with locals whilst traveling where along the lines of “when did the American people get so stupid? We used to look up to you all” saying they were alternatively amused and frightened because we have the crazy politicians and they may have access to all the weapons. I would say that for an outsider looking in it must be frightening indeed.

Republicans cut AHCCS funding down so only poor w/ children could qualify then a neighbor Republican uses this as an example of the problem with government run Health Care telling people how to live & act in order to qualify which was having minor children. Tried to tell him it was the Republicans but it wouldn't have mattered.
