Again, another viscous act - STOP the madness...

Gov. Haley - you can start "TAKE DOWN THAT CONFEDERATE FLAG"...many may think that a small gesture but in my mind would go a long way to send a message...racism and hate will not be tolerated...

Birmingham AL Sept 15, 196 - (like it was yesterday) (Wash Post)

Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy ordered his chief civil rights troubleshooter, Burke Marshall, to Birmingham. At least 25 FBI agents, including bomb experts from Washington, were being rushed in.

Dr. King wired Wallace that "the blood of four little children ... is on your hands. Your irresponsible and misguided actions have created in Birmingham and Alabama the atmosphere that has induced continued violence and now murder."

Nonbeliever, secular, atheist, prayers. All you can do is send out love and light and pray for comfort for those families and friends who have lost loved ones.

My heart just aches. I'm in complete solidarity. Have they been called home for a higher purpose? I want to believe in some reason for this to take place in a house of worship. I just can't take it.
