(23,946 posts)like a drunken demolition derby in a Deep South hayseed field where not being sober gets you disqualified.
Another attempt to seperate Trump from the GOP field so that the GOP and corporate media can go on pretending that at least a third of the Republican Party Foxbot "base" they are all in hot pursuit of is not certifiably insane.

(750 posts)The Bushido literally meaning "the way of the warrior", is a Japanese word for the way of the samurai life, loosely analogous to the concept of chivalry.
No matter the rhetoric with the Republicans war and profiteering is the platform. "Bushido" is a modern term rather than a historical one.
The "way" itself originates from the samurai moral values, most commonly stressing some combination of frugality, loyalty, martial arts mastery, and honor.
Although the American version of Jeb Bushido is done by swindling in lies profiteering through dishonor more lies and predator economic systems all the while sacking the treasury for power and money.

(3,511 posts)Should the media really pay so much attention to these outliers who never get any real support from the party or voters? It's not like anyone thinks he is a serious candidate anyway.
Wait, what's that? He is actually leading the polls for the republicans??? He has more than twice the support of the next leading candidate???
Oops. Never mind. Carry on.

(7,888 posts)Both parties think they can disparage all reasonable voters who disagree with the "dark money" take over of our political system.
You all know we could easily get enough support for a constitutional amendment to reform campaign financing? It's a hard road to take, will take time, effort and funding. We can do it.

(3,544 posts)The fighting when the ones not selected will voice their opinions?
The selection of who has to blow into the breathalizer?
The constant rising of voices during the debate?
The name calling?
How much comedic material will come out of this? I'll bet ya every comedian in the world will watch. It'll be a gold mine for them.
This should be fun.
OMG, this is going to be spectacular. I NEVER watch FAUX news. For this, I will make an exception.
I look forward to this with great anticipation. And the cool part is no one on stage will be the president. The Dems will prevail.

(363 posts)Danica Patrick has no sponsor for next year yet the male relatives of car owners get rides. Simona de Silvestro can't get a ride in indy car even though she was 4th in points after the second race. Johanna Long can't get a ride in the xfinity series. Their is to much sexism in automobile racing other then drag racing. Target and walmart market to women but have male drivers. As for trump why do good government liberals think they have to help the republican party stop trump from destroying the republican party!

Also in the developmental levels of both Indy Car and NASCAR, the problem is acute as well.

(6 posts)Now imagine a NASCAR race with one drunk driver, one so dumb he thinks wearing glasses with plump up his image, one so insane about abortion that he brought his dead baby home to "introduce" it to his siblings, two so dedicated to war that they say there will be "boots on the ground" the "first day," another who promises to bring back draconian penalties for pot, yet another who says Obama is leading the Jews to ovens, still another who end social security, several who want to end "medicare as we know it," and all who believe that American corporations are far too heavily regulated. Before the "debate" begins, if DUers don't understand just how lunatics can be so politically acceptable to almost half the country, we can always "Go Ask Alice, I think she'll know."
