2. I can only (rather) quote Bette Davis regarding Cheney's death.

"My parents taught me to only speak good of the dead, Cheney is dead, Good."

14. You're a poker player.

Not only did you match my cards, you raised me one!

I'm not sure we can do it all at once. We'll have to use fortune cookies.. The cookie with "After I'm done here I'm going to Rumsfeld's grave" wins.

15. Will you be driving a camper van or a bus? A

And bring money. $10's and $20's. The cemetery director will make a killing if he/she charges for parking.

3. I hope they do as we have done.

Just go into a country and take whomever we want and bring them to which ever country we want. We have already set the precedent for others to follow. That would serve Cheney right.

19. My favorite? Depends on whether I am the interrogator or the interrogatee

For Cheney, whatever he had approved of.
A stay in gitmo, after a discussion with him of his enhanced interrogation techniques. Make him think that also awaits him. That would work for me.

4. Won't happen

Pipe dream. Oh they may do some trial but it won't do anything. We won't extradite him because we are not under world court jurisdiction. Never have been, never will. However if they do this and he steps off U.S. soil then maybe. But I doubt he will leave again. I would love it to happen but I just know it won't.

5. At least he will go down in history

as a war criminal. Him and the rest will be tried in absentia and all will be guilty. And there will probably be bounties or frozen assets. And their families will have to live with it. And the entire world will know these people have a different justice system than the poor. But with his new heart he will live to experience the misery of being a wanted man.

6. A psychopath doesn't feel misery.

He'll blame all of his problems on someone else.

12. ^ ^ THIS ^ ^

I think the hardest thing for people with actual feelings to grasp is that sociopaths feel no regrets. We like to invision a time when they finally come to terms with the sheer magnitude of their offenses and are wracked by guilt. Unfortunately, that time may never come. The sad truth is that most of them don't give a shit. And probably never will.

P.S. I have no plans to dance on anyone's grave. I'm stubbornly clinging to that last shred of humanity.

7. Pharaoh

Pharaoh

One can hope it is not that far away - that Cheney - and the rest of the Bush Administration - and to many to count elsewhere is arrested - sent on a airplane to Haag - and put on trial for their crimes... And of course since the international court of justice do not hang people - live out their life in relative comfortable prison cells in the Netherlands - or elsewhere they might be put.... It is the best we in Europe is able to do sadly - as we have some standards to our prisons...

9. Let it begin soon....

Cheney should be awaiting execution for war crimes, violations of international law, and violations of the United States Constitution. W likewise.

17. Rummy doesn't travel outside the country. Germany would have his ass.

That's the problem with Obama's "let's not look at the past, look toward the future" meme.

Because the Holocaust was so yesterday.

13. "possibly" be tried

-maybe be tried
-giving him options as befits the status of his previous "office"
...whatever.
As likely as revealing the identity of those who really killed JFK, RFK, MLK.
A country that refers to itself as exceptional will start with the logical exception - right here.

18. "I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies,

foreign and domestic."

Obama flouted that oath. And he's a constitutional scholar.

It's our job to punish war criminals, but somebody else will have to do it.

20. That is not our job to punish war criminals.

That is what the World Court is for. This country is more like some street gang enforcing their own idea of the law.

22. It IS our job to prosecute war criminals.

The U.S does have laws against torture under the Fourth Amendment:

The principal federal law that would apply to torture against detainees is 18 U.S.C. 242, which makes it a criminal offense for any public official to willfully to deprive a person of any right protected by the Constitution or laws of the United States.

Obama has abrogated his oath. He should be impeached and put on trial for war crimes. So should every member of the Cheney administration.
