Carson isn't an idiot. He knows his republiCON base is. Really it is nothing more than pandering to the rubes in his party. I don't know which is worse Carson or the rubes.

Because I can guarantee that while maybe the other candidates would not have said yes directly, they would have been savvy enough to monologue how the Constitution comes from God long enough that it would have sounded like yes to the republican base.
