1. So is this Fox speaking out of both sides of their mouth?

The Koch Brothers don't want him, they want Scott Walker... Fox was bashing him and than praising him? Maybe they will see the writing on the wall, that he is not going away. They created him, and are stuck with him. No other Republican Candidate is even anywhere near Trump.

2. Fox may not want him, but it's foremost a profit-generating enterprise and the product it sells

is its viewership. Who didn't love Roger Ailes having to suck up to Trump to placate the large number of angry Fox viewers who support him? Now they're just back to their SOP of growing their product by feeding their viewers back exactly what they want to hear.

Just a guess, of course, but Fox has perhaps decided on a waiting game, for a while, as the Trump phenom continues to play out. There's a lot about Trump the TP/bircherites won't like to learn, but it's in Fox's power to make sure they do -- in a fair and balanced way, of course.

Can you imagine President Trump going up against Putin? I can see the missiles flying overhead now.
