Especially in a small town where you have racists who feel they have power because they know the police chief. I actually had someone tell this to me like it would impress me. Instead, it gave me a good idea about the kind of town we lived in.

So, what makes "making direct eye contact" a perfectly good reason to allege that a driver didn't signal at least 100 feet before turning in order to pull a driver over in a traffic stop?
