'US played right into Al-Qaeda hands in Yemen'

In Yemen the US is siding with the government, with its troops providing targeting data to fight Al-Qaeda - which some already dubbed an escalation of America's clandestine war in the country. Government forces used heavy artillery and warplanes to pound Al-Qaeda positions in the south of the country, killing at least 29 militants. Al-Qaeda-linked fighters have taken over several towns in the past year, forcing out troops and establishing their own rule.

Anti-war activist Susan Lindauer talks to RT. She believes American help will do more harm than good, hurting U.S. interests in the region.

If we did not have military bases in Mecca we would not be under attack by Mecca.
