John 8: 44 You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father's desire. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.

Springtime For Grifters

His thesis is that the republicans are leading their followers in order to make money for themselves. For example, some candidates want to go back to the gold standard, and those same candidates are involved in buying gold. Asking them tough questions is met with boos.

Quite often they use only part of the truth (intentionally leaving our relevant facts or context) to paint a false narrative.

This is done to varying degrees; hence, Poltifact's sliding scale.

It got cold last winter = TRUE
This proves global warming is a hoax = FALSE

The major point of the whole statement is false, but the fact mentioned in the first sentence is true. So you could call the whole thing fractionally true, maybe even half true, if you feel generous, though the true component is trivial and the false component is of great consequence.

Which means they will collect about 60% of the vote between just the 2 of them from the Republicans during the primary season.

The other 11 guys, and Carly, only get about 40% of the rest of the votes -- combined -- between all of them.

PolitiFact only rates highly inflammatory or questionable statements, obviously these guys have stated more truths (such as, "I am rich" and "I am a surgeon", etc.) than lies.

You could talk until you are blue in the face and won't be able to convince them that both candidates are so unqualified to be president that it is scary.

It is bewildering to me that anyone would consider such buffoonish crazy people like trump and Carson. Both lack the intellect and gravitas to be President.

We are surrounded by our fellow citizens who are brainwashed zombies.

Every election Republicans go for the dumbest candidates. Even Fiorina came out as dumb as a box of racks. I honestly don't get why republicans are going for people this stupid.
