are accountable to no one, except their own brethren. All public complaints against them are handled by a board consisting of current and former cops. Just last week, two cops were exonerated for shooting two innocent people on a sidewalk.

The helicopters are hovering overhead again tonight, it's almost 2 am.

and after 15 years things have only gotten worse. It seems every economic catastrophe only serves to redistribute MORE wealth into the hands of the top 1% and decrease the power and influence of unions and social equity policy. Naomi Klein is dead right in The Shock Doctrine. But in the beginning, it was only used to exploit third world countries, and the remnants of the Soviet Union to the benefit of the western countries. Now it's gone even further, to exploit EVERYBODY for only the benefit of the top 1% in the western countries.

That is the nature of greed...and when they have it all we will have Feudalism...where the 1% own everything and all the land and charge us rent to live here....or allow us to work for food.
