Was the man complaining just a regular citizen? I mean, do Saudi men walk around dictating to Saudi women what they can and not do based on their religious beliefs? And, in this case, he believed the woman should not be wearing nail polish so he told her to leave the mall?

And who were the uniformed men?

in saudi arabia there has always been a pretty blurry line between the two

I knew somewhat about "religious officials" having some kind of "duty" to "correct" regular citizens but didn't realize they feel they could eject them from shopping malls for wearing nail polish.

What a mess...
