Mike Papantonio and Ed Schultz discuss the illegal voter purges taking place in states like Florida and Wisconsin, that will keep just enough Democrats away from the polls this year to give Mitt Romney the presidency.

that the Obama campaign would be all over this. Are we really going to let this happen again? Maybe someone should drop them a line and clue them in.

The only way that Republican voter purges will ever stop is through a class action lawsuit in civil court with a CASH SETTLEMENT.

All the people who were disenfranchised in the 2000 election in Florida should get together and sue either the state or the state GOP. Loss of money is the only thing that hurts these people. Exposure and/or embarrassment won't do it, obviously. And as long as we have the current 5/4 conservative/liberal split on the Supreme Court there is no point in taking it to the Supreme Court. They'll only rule it legal on partisan grounds, and set the precedent permanently in U.S. Law.

So, until the Supreme Court composition can by changed (by an Obama second term) the only way to get them to stop this voter suppression is through a civil court litigation. They can even list JEB Bush and Katherine Harris as defendants. The nice part about this is they'd be able to subpoena email records, and get proof that the voter's list purging was politically motivated.

And, speaking of the famed Republican outrage over non-eligible voters, I'm still waiting for them to look into Mitt voting in Mass. while living in Cali. Some reporter needs to just ask him straight out if he was actually living in his son's unfinished basement, where he was registered, during the last election. (Or maybe that question can wait until October, when it will have a better impact.)

enough spine to go after Rick Scott for the illegal purges. And he's right. If our justice department won't prosecute for egregious violations of our Constitutional rights, them they don't deserve their jobs.

But we don't deserve the assholes the GOP is running.
