OMG - The Nightly Show - Did Bernie Sanders HINT at Elizabeth Warren for his VP?
Just watched the Panel interview of Bernie Sanders on the Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore alongside Grace Parra and Jordan Carlos. The interview was great, however, it got really interesting specifically at 5:09 in the interview: Jordan Carlos asks if Bernie Sanders would consider a VP candidate that “rhymes with Elizabeth Shwarren”.

“Have you put some thought in your running mate — Would you ever hint at something like that?”

“Now the last time I was here you got me to say that I was thinking about running and now you want...”

“Something else is coming out!”

“Yeah! Let’s hear it!”

“Elizabeth Warren is a very good friend of mine, I have known here for a long time, before she was in the Senate.
She is a great US Senator.
She has stood up to Wall Street.
She has stood up to the Big Money interests.
So, she uh, she and I will work together”

Update: per the comments below:
To clarify, if Elizabeth Warren was selected, it’s likely, in her state,
that the Senate seat would remain in the Democratic column.
As the Vice President, she would be able to have
a much larger platform for her policy and ideas.
Furthermore, the Vice President is the tie breaking vote in case of a Senate deadlock.
And as Vice President she would be experienced and primed to be
a future President as well.
