I remember reading that Cheney often consulted with kissenger while he was vp and thinking it does not get much more evil than that.

Hillary says:

with respect to China, one of the most challenging relationships we have, his opening up China and his ongoing relationships with the leaders of China is an incredibly useful relationship for the United States of America.

Sure it is, if like our current system of off-shoring most of our good paying manufacturing jobs to China, defeating our unions here at home, resulting in lower wages for the middle class and poor, and turning America into a consumer society of buying cheap throw-away goods. Hell yeah, he's had an important impact on America...and not a good one.

Just another example of how out of touch Hillary Clinton is, and how dangerous having her in the White House would be in terms of American foreign policy.

What is she thinking? Satire alert below.

Hillary Surprised So Many Americans Recall Kissinger a War Criminal

WASHINGTON (The Nil Admirari) - Earlier today, Democratic presidential candidate and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton announced she was genuinely surprised so many Americans still recalled her close friend and foreign policy counselor Henry Kissinger was a war criminal guilty of genocide. Clinton also confessed she was not surprised U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont - her chief rival - remembered former Secretary of State Kissinger was a horrible person directly responsible for the deaths of millions of innocent people due to Sanders being "very, very old."

+

Secretary Clinton continued, "I mean, how many years have to go by before we just forget about someone being a war criminal responsible for genocide? When can I publicly admit I take foreign policy advice from my good friend Henry Kissinger? Does Nixon get any blame for listening to him?"

*warning* if you watch Year Zero, you CANNOT "un" see it. this is an _extremely_ disturbing documentary.

This documentary is one of the reasons I will never respect anyone who associates positively with HK.

not much else to add except more disgust for Kissinger and anyone who lionizes him full stop

It doesn't come down to foreign policy "experience". It comes down to moral compass.

Of course the Neo-Cons like Kissinger. He is their kind of guy. But do we really want to promote a Fascist foreign policy agenda?
