Let's do it and welcome these people into the big tent instead of forcing them out where they can become spoiler candidates. Seems like a no brainer to me. Obviously these people won't be voting for Hillary.

13. LaDuke recognized her mistake and endorsed Kerry against Nader in 2004.

Note how Nader's total plummeted from 2000 to 2004 (down by about three-fourths). Most Nader voters, including his running mate, realized (partly by looking at the photo you present) that they had made a mistake.

By contrast, Nader himself and a minority of his supporters (including some right here on DU) continue with the tired old excuses.

Winona LaDuke has addressed a specific issue on which she's knowledgeable and explained why Sanders is better on that issue. That's a valuable contribution to the debate.

It's long past time for one of our nominees to address the needs of Native Americans. I hope Bernie will now acknowledge her publicly.
