I actually heard Mika saying Dems should be very worried if Trump is the Repug (of course she said Republican, lol) candidate. That if he was Dems would be in huge trouble. They are so on the take for him. They blast him occasionally for his racist rants, but the next day are strongly back in his pocket again.

Of course Ryan is wrong too. Repugs have long traded on being racists and continue to do so even more strongly in the person of Trump. He is exactly what the Repugs have created, racist, women hating, minority hating. worker hating, education hating, supporter of the 1%.

That's a huge part of the appeal. Nixon's Southern Strategy, Reagan's Welfare Queens, GHW Bush's Willie Horton ad, Trump's screeds -- all part of the game plan. They don't hide their racism. They embrace it.
