We hold family excursions there every one or two years. Every time, we stop and think if we can find a different place just to mix things up a bit--and always decide to return to Santa Fe. Unbeatable mix of an artsy/intellectual vibe, great jewelry and art stores, breathtaking views, the Georgia O'Keeffe Museum, wonderful food, and beautiful places to hike. For history and science buffs, the Los Alamos Museum (aka, Bradbury Science Museum) is an unforgettable day trip.

Thanks for your reply..... We are transplants out here, but we love the culture, and love to remind Republicans that Santa Fe has flown the flag of Spain, Mexico, and the Pueblo Indians long before Plymouth Rock let alone 1776!

I love this state and I'm seeing more people wearing Bernie T shirts - one yesterday, two today. Lots of bumper stickers for Bernie.
