"We know who her base is, and it ain't us"It's a real shame Hillary supporters refuse to allow facts into their thinking.
Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, and Alan Grayson are the few real Democrats remaining.

(24,411 posts)Your bring up her corporate corruption, I often am befuddled about HRC's warmongering. She was endorsed by the founder of the neocon movement two weeks ago. Robert Kagan, the guy who hatched the entire war plan and crafted the Iraq invasion--endorsed Hillary over all Republicans.
And as if that isn't bad enough--HRC hand picked Kagan to be one of her advisers while she was Sec of State.
Her actions on Libya were right out of the neocon playbook. The neocons identified Libya as one of the countries that they wanted to dominate, but first they needed Gadaffi out and the country decimated. I guess Kagan and the rest of the sociopaths owe HRC a big debt of gratitude.
I will never understand how this is acceptable to any Democrat.
I will never understand how this war-centric approach ever slithered its way into our party. But here it is.

(38,462 posts)a poster's grammar is more egregious than a crooked presidential candidate who is under investigation for multiple breaches of security committed while "serving" as Secretary of State.

Now, on to the coronation! And the next HRC-backed war squeezed in between multi-million $$ banker-funded speaking fees.

(51,545 posts)Bernie made the same bogus claim regarding that bankruptcy bill being an example of what Hillary's large money donors got in exchange for their donations.
Hillary has repeatedly refuted this bogus smear, as anyone who believes in facts, like Hillary supporters do, could easily confirm:
STEPHANOPOULOS: But thats not what
CLINTON: that would protect women. But now let me finish, George, because this has been bandied about and I just want to set the record straight. And so then three years later, part of the part of what Senator Senator Warren said, you played. You didnt play the whole thing, because weve been allies. I faced a tough decision and I stood up for women and children. I went to the Senate floor, said that was exactly what I was doing. Then the bill did not pass. It never became law. And then when the next bill came up, 2005, womens issues were taken care of because I had made that a point back in 2001. And so then I was against that bill. I didnt get a chance to actually vote against it because Bill was in the hospital having a heart procedure. But I put a statement out. I was against it. So Im happy to set this record straight. And I really want to, once again, call out the Sanders campaign, which claims they like to run a positive campaign. But they have been quite artful in raising questions and trying to cast doubts about my record.
And I really am not going to sit and take it anymore
STEPHANOPOULOS: But Senator
CLINTON: I have a public record. I have never, ever been influenced in a view or a vote by anyone who has given me any kind of money. So Im just going to keep setting the record straight.

Bill and Hillary amassed $130 million doing what?
Ohhhhhh. Speechifying. On Skype!
Damn. Where can I get a job like that!!!!!
SunSeeker
(51,545 posts)And they did not do it by Skype.
As Cenk admitted, 2/3 of the fees went to charity - the Clinton foundation--which helps the poor around the world.
