They Should Totally Allow Guns At the Republican Convention. Seriously.

After an online petition pushing for open-carry guns at the Republican convention gathered over 50,000 signatures this week, the Republican establishment panicked and shot the idea down pretty quickly. Hmm…we wonder why. Ring of Fire’s Farron Cousins discusses this.

...which they don't, the Secret Service and the Quicken Loans Arena insurers would still make it pretty much impossible.

There are still lots of lesser events where open and concealed carry by attendees is quite feasible, however, and I anticipate statements from all R candidates welcoming armed supporters to those.

Yup, any moment now.
