And I would certainly not count on him for any deciding vote.
So, IMO - of course Bill would say that. it appeases.

If there's one thing Bill Clinton has shown is his very strong self preservation drive. I seriously doubt, no matter how much he cares for Hillary, that he would risk more negative writing in the books of history about him as a former president. Do I like the guy? No. has he done some pretty rotten stuff? Yes. However the majority of it has been like trying to nail jello to a wall. This would be like hanging a picture. Not something he'd risk IMHO.

I WISH I could say it was because he was an upstanding person with a sense of honor. (sigh)
