The Ron Paul Hypocrisy on Social Security

&feature=player_embedded

ThinkProgess:

" Texas Rep. Ron Paul (R-TX), a libertarian hero, last year said that allowing Social Security to exist is akin to permitting slavery. But during an appearance on MSNBC’s Morning Joe today, Paul admitted to the Huffington Post’s Sam Stein that he collects Social Security checks anyway.

- Paul is, of course, not the only conservative to benefit from government programs that he or she opposes. But his crankish view of the Constitution has brought him to the conclusion that Social Security is altogether unconstitutional, which also hasn’t stopped him from collecting benefits.

is that they only thing they say about him is that he's against wars. So what. Most people are. They have absolutely no idea what his economic policies are, which, of course, are much more damaging.

Can you endure Zappa Plays Zappa?

is how their guy supposedly "can't be bought", and they always want to act like Obama and Romney are the same and equally corrupt.

If you listen to his speech, and I am not talking about his accent, but to the rise and fall, the inflection and the quality of his enunciation, he sounds like a whining child.

If you listen to the tone of his speech patterns like you would listen to music, he sounds like he is whining and asking his mommy for permission to go out and play.

I think that there is something childish about him in general. He pouts and whines. He just never grew up. It's as if his psychological development was abruptly stopped at some point.

This video demonstrates particularly well what I hear when he talks.

and weak(physically). This is one reason why he can never gain any traction. People want strong look, manly voiced and good looking leader. This could also explain his anti war stance, a man that looks like he does will wither just after a day in the military.

He made millions selling racist Newsletters to get out 98 thousand dollars of debt. After his 2008 run he bought a six million dollar home on the beach in TX and bought Rand Ayn Paul a senate seat. Nice man.

I became disabled at the age of 26 in 1991. This happened on the job while I waiting to join the Carpenters Union. After a few major surgeries I have not been able to return to work. Mean while my WC lawyers told me I could not collect SSD while collecting Workers Comp. I tried to get retrained but was told my wife made too much money, 20 grand a year at the time. I tried to get SSD once again but because of a sixty day time limit I can never get help.

I was harassed by the carrier and cut down to barely nothing and would have to wait months for a court hearing to get any treatment approved. The insurance carrier would go around to neighbors and told them I was a fraud and asked them to spy on me which they were happy to do so. I settled the case in 1998 since I could not deal with the stress of being watched and having my neighbors call me a fraud and spread rumors about me to the point that no one associates with my family. Never mind the chronic pain I have endured still since the accident. Now I suffer from MS and of course I still can not get any type of financial support.

My only blessing is that my wife and stood by side all this time, even though my relatives and her's have abandoned us and our children. But I'm so glad to this hate filled little Leprechaun can collect while having millions of dollars. Before anyone says I'm looking for sympathy, no I'm just telling my story and never gotten a dime or any help in my entire life.
