(5,902 posts)I admire that; I can barely handle a fly swatter without knocking something over.

(5,902 posts)I think the Indiana Jones franchise is practically unique in that it never gets old, and each installment seems to be better than the last - and the first one was nearly perfect!
Incidentally, I had the honor of meeting Harrison Ford once. I was walking my dogs up Barrington Avenue (West L.A.), and ran into him and Calista Flockhart. We shook hands, they complimented my dogs, and we went on our way.
Ford, in particular, was every bit as warm and affable as he comes off on the screen. A nice little memory.

(22,308 posts)Somehow, in her mind, everything she does is justified.
19 minute speech on the floor of The Senate to drum up votes for the Iraq war, justified.
Calling marriage a "Sacred" bond between a man and a woman, justified.
"Evolving" on something she once called "Sacred", justified.
Telling the same lie over and over again about running from sniper fire in Bosnia, justified.
You name it. If she did it, she somehow can convince herself that it isn't an issue.
IMO, not supporting Hillary to be our nominee... Justified!

It's no wonder that she "can't care about money."

(13,297 posts)She continues to scramble to keep from losing the nomination to an old socialist Jew from Vermont who was nearly unknown less than a year ago. Think of how bad a candidate you have to be to be having to fight day in and day out, just to stay afloat.
She's yesterdays news on the bottom of the birdcage, and she would lose the General if she even got through the Convention, but lucky for us that is not going to happen
THAT is what being on the right side of history is all about.

(53,410 posts)The fact that she can spend the rest of her life giving lucrative speeches makes me wonder why she'll take a drastic cut in pay to be President.
Never mind. I know the answer to that. Power. Ego. Entitlement.
