Senator Claire McCaskill on Bill Clinton: A great leader but I don't want my daughter near him

Senator McCaskill seems to be implying she's afraid Bill Clinton would sexually assault her daughter if they were left alone together. Do I understand her meaning correctly?

She's a solid Democrat though. A Clinton ally, and a famous red baiter and mud slinger

Dinner parties late in the night with Jamie Dimon and the Koch Brothers, figuring just how to extract the last pennies from the middle class ...

Fantasies of being raped by three men at once story. I would be more concerned about my daughter's being around the writer of this story. Rape is not a small issue.

When people apologize, it is time to drop it and use it against Hillary. I am sure the RW will continue to use it but Democrats should let it die.

ABC News' Betsy Klein reports:

On the eve of her 60th birthday, Missouri Sen. Claire McCaskill said that she has officially buried the hatchet with Bill and Hillary Clinton.

McCaskill, who recently signed on to an effort to encourage Hillary Clinton to run for president in 2016, acknowledged that she was wrong to say in a 2006 "Meet the Press" appearance that "I don't want my daughter near" Bill Clinton.

"I said a lot of things in the last 30 years that I'm not particularly proud of. I mean there have been things that I've said that I wish I could take back," McCaskill said at an event in Washington, D.C. on Tuesday night sponsored by BuzzFeed. "It was gratuitous and hurtful and I have apologized to both President Clinton and Hillary Clinton for saying it."...............
