(449 posts)It's the inability to decipher where she stands on an issue and the apparent attitude of being 'above the law' that bother me greatly. You don't want people in power that think of themselves as above the people they represent. That reeks of abuse of power.
I take offense to so many people that vote blindly strictly based on party affiliation alone just as I take offense to any group of people that let others think for them. All I ask is that people vote after thinking about things fully and completely.
Critical thinking skills are important, and seemingly less and less valued in society. It's becoming more of a ME first society by the day. I appreciated Sanders because, while not perfect, he represented something a bit different. Anyway... the system is clearly a bit broken in various ways and perhaps that deserves it's own standalone post, though that horse and probably been bludgeoned the death by now.

(3,146 posts)What about, "Democratic and independent voters are really showing that they're not ready to just give the nomination to someone they don't like and trust." ?

(20,453 posts)For example, the Cruz dump makes certain Drumpf's nomination (although that could be contested, perhaps). The people who are so tired of the establishment candidates have been making it known in the BIGGEST way that they have NO intention to support that establishment. Nor do they really think Drumpf is qualified, but are protesting a now DEAD Republican party (I'm enjoying that part)...
But, in the remaining primaries which are open, Independents will finally confirm that Drumpf is the nominee and want a better vote against that by really supporting Sanders. Most of them do (2:1) already.
She COULD have talked about that, but instead, polished up personal image. She's practicing for a press secretary position, because she's got very little use of that big brain of hers anymore.
