what's good for Bernie Sanders. Look at the money he's raked in doing 'speaking' tours, soliciting mega-bucks from all over the world for his family slush fund. Before he ran for political office he didn't have much money at all. Now he and his wife have a net worth of well over $100 million. Wow. Really, how can someone take advantage of political offices to build up a personal financial empire like that? It's sickening. Yet we keep on electing grifters like him...

Wait. You said Bernie Sanders. My bad. Oops. Wow. I guess I shouldn't write stuff on DU after only a couple of hours sleep. Getting candidates mixed up like that is really embarrassing. Sorry...

Seriously.

Bernie Sanders has been in government for 33 years. His family's net worth is around $350,000.

He has been considered one of the least corrupt members of Congress or the Senate for a couple of decades.

Your statement could be one of the most absurd assertions I've ever seen on DU.

We all have strengths and weaknesses. Among Bernie Sanders's weaknesses you will not find any willingness or, quite possibly, any capacity whatsoever, to exploit the opportunities of public office for personal financial gain.

Frankly, I expect he's felt really uncomfortable at times about the success of his fundraising.

he could pick his pay check even when he accomplished nothing.

Truth is he's the least ego driven of any candidate throughout the whole primary season. Bernie is all about us -- and that'S all of us. But if being small minded and denigrating the basic character of the person makes you feel better about what you think, then have at it. It had NE effect on Bernie or his supporters.

conducting direct psychological assessments of Bernie Sanders?

This would involve an appropriate battery of standardized psychological profile questionnaires (MMPI, MMCI-IV, maybe the TAT) filled out by Sen. Sanders, each sent in to the appropriate organization for proper evaluation, and the results, in the various scales, finally interpreted by you.

Of course, psychologists don't draw firm conclusions about subjects solely from assessments like these. They need to spend time with a subject, conduct conversations which might confirm, invalidate, or qualify results from standardized assessments - well, doing it right takes a lot of training, skill, and time.

Even then, different psychologists might arrive at varying conclusions on the same subject.

So, again, how much of this have you conducted with Sen. Sanders? Oh, and did he actually authorize you to discuss your conclusions on an anonymous politically-oriented Internet web site? If not, you're headed for a prison term.

OBVIOUSLY, SINCE YOU HAVE DONE NONE OF THIS, SHUT THE FUCK UP ABOUT EGOS AND MOTIVATIONS AS YOU HAVE NO CONCEIVABLE BASIS FOR YOUR BULLSHIT. THIS IS NOT A PLACE TO CONSTANTLY INSULT AND DERIDE POLITICIANS WITHOUT A REASONABLE BASIS FOR ANY OF YOUR CLAIMS! YOUR BULLSHIT IS WORTHLESS OR OF NEGATIVE VALUE TO EVERYONE WHO COMES IN CONTACT WITH IT.

Here I am, again. I am an 81-year-old white woman and I'm sorry, but I really am repulsed by the flagrant use of this word. I am beginning to stop reading any article the minute I see it. I'm thinking there are probably a lot of people in my generation who feel the same. You may well have intense feelings about your subject, but it's long past time for this term to have any remaining emphasis. It's just disgusting.

I'm also thinking---maybe the people of my generation who seem to populate Hillary's side might be turned off by it's use. In other times, such language and people who used it were thought of very poorly. It's for certain that Bernie Sanders does not use it. Why sully his wonderful message? It really dishonors him. If older people flock to Hillary's side, this might be one reason. Please take some time and enlarge your vocabulary. Bernie deserves better.

And I think Bernie acknowledging that person's (and gauging from the crowd's reaction) frustration with the DC establishment.

Sorry if you are offended. I don't think the millennials and many working class voters found it offensive as much as humorous due to the truth of it.

I'm not worried about language so much as people of my generation going to Hillary. Keith Olbermann could put his point across mightily and I don't recall his resorting to such language. Try for better. With a little effort, you may surprise yourself!

When my two sons were very young, all their friends used such language. I was determined they would never start. I told them that if I ever heard them say what was a "bad word," they would lose their bike for 6 months. One of them did. They are now in their fifties and they NEVER, EVER use them, at least not around me. I let them get away with a lot, but that was my pet peeve.

I'd hope that Hillary Clinton supporters knows how often she's turned that phrase herself. I've heard this from the best of resources. However, I'm sure she'd never use it in public. The point is, at a rally, why use it at all?

I don't think this would be any reason to flock to her side, by the way.

Not only did he respect the supporter ("that's one way to put it&quot but he also showed that as president, he will initiate policies that turn those sentiments into something constructive. AND on top of that, he shows willingness to do so while working within the system: "I am constrained."
