First book to take out would be "What Went Wrong" by George R Tyler.

Most of us are in such a ghetto of mis-information and non-information that we remain clueless as to what is really going on.

According to Tyler, in Germany, a nation which highly protected its manufacturing base, and thereby protected its workers, good things are happening. Germany, if adjusted for per capita population, has the world's highest export ratio. And little debt relating to the import/export situation.

Contrast that to the huge debt we Americans are in to China.

Germany also can boast of having raised its workers salaries by 172% since 1985.

Here in the USA we don't notice much in the way of a salary raise, as our rate has gone up a mere one half of one percent!

Germany's health care situation is superior to ours. Their population doesn't end up being in debt for college or university training. And because that nation never gave up on apprenticeship programs there, a HS dropout will not see much difference in wage and income when compared to a four year college grad, as they make 85% as much.

It's all about the win and nothing else.

I've covered so much stuff in my Op's with links asking for them to refute my findings and it's nothing but crickets.

Facts and evidence matters not.

Germany's workers are supposed to be the one the happiest in the world as well. Go figure, when you have a job that doesn't require mandatory overtime and you get paid a very good wage?

What's that all about!?

Anyway, Tyler's book is a total revelation. I didn't realize how out of the loop we are in this country.

Which is why even in the Bernie Sanders group, you will read people saying, "Well the jobs won't be coming back, but then are they even needed?" As if working for $ 15 an hour at a fast food place is the American dream
