Youth-Targeted Racist YouTube Channel... You Have to See It to Believe It

Despite all the Hillary-vs-Bernie arguing that's been going on, I think there are still a few things all DU'ers can agree on, one of them being this: There are groups out there pushing nightmarish agendas--groups so perverse and twisted, all this Hillary/Bernie stuff looks like child's play.

Case in point: While doing some research on the Nazis and the Holocaust, I came across a relatively new YouTube channel called Evalion. Ostensibly the creation of an angelic-voiced 18-year-old girl, the channel has posted youth-oriented, repugnant videos promoting racism and homophobia, praising Hitler, and denying the Holocaust. The content is so warped as to be jaw-dropping. Joseph Goebbels had nothing on this girl.

But to clarify, I don't for one minute believe the channel is actually the product of an 18-year-old girl. The amount of content, and the highly-developed, twisted world view, strongly suggest to me that the content is being fed to her by a larger organization. Some pathological hate group has figured out that their content will be more palatable, and will gain a larger audience, if voiced by a young woman.

I'm surprised YouTube is allowing this content. It's so twisted, so hateful, and so dangerous that it makes me think we ought to adopt some of the legislation Germany uses to prevent this kind of twisted hate speech.

If you can stomach it, here are a couple of the videos. Be warned, this is nasty stuff. I'm torn about posting them, but I'm proceeding on the theory that it's better to know this sinister, youth-targeted content is out there than to be ignorant of it.

2. Yeah. My reaction too. At first I thought satire.

Then found that it's in earnest. I was, and am, in a bit of shock about this channel. I made the post here because I find the whole thing so disturbing I wanted to share it here, with people I know to be sane, almost as a form of therapy.

I am creeped out by this YouTuble channel in a big way. It's a new dimension of evil I haven't experienced before and it makes my skin crawl.

4. Well, that's the thing that makes this effective propaganda.

To a certain youthful, social-media-saturated audience, the references to tinfoil hats and lizard people make the whole video edgy and funny. Her scripts (I say scripts because I think the content is written for her) include lots of irreverent moments. Moments that are disrespectful of any stodgy, grounded approach to the subject. It's highly-developed racist content that's been sprinkled over with an adolescent spice, if you will, to make it palatable.

Cunning and creepy. If you watch a few more of her videos, I think you'll catch on to the formula they're using.

6. I don't blame you for a moment.

I'm still torn about posting the videos and I fully expect some commenters will argue that posting them was the wrong choice. In defense, I'll offer this: If I hadn't seen the content of this YouTube channel myself, I doubt I would have believed it.

Imagine an organization of middle-aged and older adults, with twisted, sick worldviews, deciding they need a young voice to spread their psychopathology across YouTube. That's exactly what you've got here.

And the worst of it? The channel's gaining subscribers.

Just like the cigarette companies constantly looking for ways to addict teenagers, if the hate groups don't bring in young blood, they won't last for long.

What really gets me here is that this channel's content is savvy. They know exactly how to push the buttons of a teenager. And thousands upon thousands of teens are watching it.

For a great example of how they're playing teens like a violin with this propaganda, get a load of the video below. It's a "random thoughts" vlog, done very much in the style of lonelygirl15 (remember her?). It's just a teen chatting about life as a teenager--with lots of racial hatred cleverly woven into the content.

I don't think they're using her to hide, though. I think they're using her because they're targeting teenagers. They know teens don't generally follow the cues of adults, but follow the cues of their peers. So here's this girl, just a regular teen, talking about how annoyed she is with her parents ("OMG!&quot , how fatigued she is by schoolwork, and oh, did she mention? She also hates Jews.

This is really dangerous propaganda. The creators are betting that if they can fuck up the minds of teenagers while they're still developing, they can create followers for life.

As I mentioned above, posting this and discussing it with other sane individuals is partly my attempt to get past it. The cynicism and manipulation behind these videos, all in an attempt to spread hate to a wider audience, is profoundly disturbing.

He kept coming over trying to get my daughter to go out with him calling her an Arian princess 🙄Because of his association she tried to distance herself taking to hiding, one day he came over and I let him in, she was gone,

A smart young man, his beliefs at best wacko but he was really trying to get me to understand why he thought the way he did, and he did take the time to listen to my side of how we believed, well most of us, he well spoken, soft spoken,

until my youngest son came home, he kinda looks the part but is so far removed from those beliefs that the minute he heard the boys rhetoric he blew up telling him to leave,he was shaking and though he was young then, he had just as much strength as he does today, always been a tough kid so I thought it best the boy leave after he began attempting to recruit my son..

There was a sort of daze about him, not drug induced I'd say, more like a kid repeating word for word a history lesson, come to find out he had a bad home life, father abusive, mother wacky, kinda sad, in those days I think those types were the ones used as soldiers so to speak, front line ones for a war that was really being fought "FOR" a select few...

These days it's whispered they are everywhere, Drs, teachers, politicians etc...a stronger force I guess than unruly youngsters....

This girl, she's not telling all, she is definitely being coached but by whom, family or acquaintance is anyone's guess but I would think since she's not home, her mother is semi unaware ....

She will get hurt sooner or later, or hurt someone else, she's a tradegy waiting to happen, sick and sad and horrifying all rolled into one small package...

That's an interesting story about the young man who was trying to recruit your son, especially the part about how you later leaned the man's home life was a mess. Who knows, but perhaps some kind of psychic damage is the root of some of this twisted thought. Or perhaps there's a genetic predisposition toward xenophobia, paranoia, and hatred that is triggered by an event. Something is going on with these people, and it's not normal, in my opinion.

As an example, prior to making this post at DU I engaged with someone who was commenting on the Evalion videos. The man was a Holocaust denier. He said that if someone could show him photos of where the Zyklon B was poured into the gas chambers, he'd change his mind on the subject. So, dutifully, I found a photograph of one of the holes through which the poison was poured. Within minutes, he responds saying that the gas chamber in the photograph was "a fake." Further, he argued that Zyklon B could only dissove in water, so its use in the gas chambers, he argued, was impossible. Of course, that assertion is utterly false: Zyklon B is a form of hydrogen cyanide and it vaporizes at room temperature. I told him as much and even directed him to a chemical fact sheet detailing the molecule's properties.

None of these facts mattered a whit. There is something twisted deep inside these deniers that is impervious to facts.

15. You know, I could never understand the rhetoric used stating that the holocaust was faked?

First of all, thousands upon thousands of human beings were tortured and disposed of as if they were garbage, thrown into pits as they would bury dog bones and left to rot...

Pictures don't lie, they did not have the ability we have today, our very own American soldiers who witnessed these atrocities did not lie....

Why anyone would even want to repeat the ignorance is beyond my understanding of what truly motivates such ignorance to find a way to spread like a bad plague.

Fear perhaps, vainly attempting somehow to find a way to elevate thier self worth having lost it somewhere along the way, as you stated maybe personal situations that have shaped them,

I do know that some minds have been changed through the centuries of such hate filled vile attacks against other people's, so it is possible, but I also believe somewhere in the chain of our genetic makeup there has to be a clue for those who honestly have not the ability to change, I believe some do not....

17. As you suggest, I'm sure there are several reasons.

That said, if you read through the comments posted under her videos, there are many, many racist neo-Nazis cheering her on. Some appear to be adults; many appear to be teens.

Be careful about trying to engage any of them in rational discussion (as I did). Any attempt to open eyes with facts, photographic evidence, or reason is a waste of time. They just try to drag you down the rabbit hole of their own hatred.

UPDATE ON EDIT: I went back to her channel's page after reading your comment about the number of subscribers, and I've got a couple observations to add. Did you notice who appears in the graphic banner for her channel, at the top of the page? Donald Trump. This doesn't surprise me. After watching about eight or nine of these videos, I'm pretty sure that the Ku Klux Klan and Aryan Nations are involved in the creation of this YouTube channel. The young woman mentions David Duke in a couple videos and she often uses a lot of the Klan's terminology and the Klan's crackpot theories about race.
