But liberals don't want to be told what to do or how to think, that's against all the rules of thinking liberally.

You could try a LW propaganda machine, but I think it's a recipe for failure.

2. Well, Who is our Left Wing Sheldon Adelson To Buy Out Some Media?

It would be nice if we had some progressive, left leaning billionaire would could pull a Sheldon Adelson and buy out some media properties to spout left wing view points, but alas, I only found about $3.52 in change in my seat cushions. Most media is funded by advertisers, most advertisers are corporations, and why would the corporations pay advertising dollars for media that does not have a RW bias?

The Obama administration recently opposed the Tribune, owner of the LA Times, effort to buy out the Freedom Press. If the sale had gone through, you would have had an illusion of diverse ownership when all the print media was owned by one owner. I would like to see the Feds a little more vigilant about opposing media consolidation efforts.

It would be nice if Sanders went a little deeper than just railing against the "corporate media" to explaining what that is, which is that most media is now owned by a small number of large companies. Thus, rather than getting a variety of viewpoints, we just have a few that are funneled through numerous brands owned by the same couple of companies. That is the media bias, a bias to safeguard and protect this media empire.

3. What we need is a news network that reports the facts leaving nothing out.

Honesty. Factual.

If THIS Democratic Party had control of a network they would be telling us why single payer health care is unrealistic and why raising the FICA cap is un doable.

But I fully understand what Bernie is saying. It's pretty sad when the nation is constantly fed pure nonsense on every channel.

Just imagine how good MSNBC could have been if the people we all watched and loved were still there and allowed to express themselves without having to answer to corporate overlords. It is a sin that Phil Donahue sits on the sidelines while this nation is in crisis as it is.
