I also had 2 bags of IV antibiotics one in each arm hitting me for 5 days. I really don't think I got sick for several years after that.

servere gastrointestinal distress, plus a little touch of "roid rage"...I generally retreat to my own world for a few weeks after, for everyone's benefit.

pull on my spine. I only have to take it once a week, so I feel pretty good on that day.

the most severe muscle spasms of my life- so severe I would involuntarily let out a loud grunt with each one. I just finished a round of steroids, and it has settled down for me now, so far. I would not wish MS on my worst enemy.

Narcotics don't work for the other MS pain I have, so I generally don't have them. There is no point. I'm sorry to hear you have health issues and need them. I will keep you in my prayers. Peace.

just right I would loose control of my legs and I would go down sometime spasming. Sometimes I could not get out of bed. I fought it for years on and off pain meds. So one morning it was so bad I had a friend drive me to the ER and they naturally would not believe me. But after standing in a hallway for a couple of hours (I was afraid to sit down). A doc came by and did a X-ray and ct-scan. Spine shaped like an S. But for the first time I had hydrocodone and valium. Never had valium before. I took it for a week and got it knocked out and got my family doc for the script for a month. I started taking it just on a weekend just a dose of each.

That was about 3-4 years ago. I still take it on a weekend. A 30 day script for each does me for 4 months, so no one complains.

I told some of my friends that have around the same thing to take a dose before you have the pain. That was my secret was to not let the back muscles even start to get tight.

It often "settles" there, and I'm down for some time until I can get it fixed. Been bedridden that way many times. It is no fun. We learn to do what we must with the help we are afforded, drugs included. :/

I have been on three different ones so far in 7 years, and the latest one appears to not be helping much. I am supposed to go to the clinic to talk about trying a different one. I do go to the drug-company sponsored dinners they have to hear talks about the different ones. They also have several in the pipeline they are working on, as you said. There is hope!

back breaking work like mine did. I still remember back in elementary getting shots from the school nurse. One needle for all the students. No alcohol, no changing needles nothing. No one knew anything really. I read where it was said that the human body is capable of 140 years. I think todays kids will make it there.

to 92, in modestly good health, and had her mind to the end. I hope you are right. One thing I haven't mentioned is my fear that Big Pharma will do like all the other industries and let greed get in the way of doing the right things, though.

That of course was the invasion of Iraq, a country that did not have a part in 911. He used to say that a caliphate would come from Iran, and that George Bush was a genius for invading Iraq and Afghanistan because it would put a squeeze on Iran in the middle and prevent a dreaded caliphate. History has proven him wrong, but as a profit wannabe he keeps trying to chalk board his way to being right.

When you think you're the only one in the world who sees THE TRUTH and everybody around you is delusional, the only thing you need to know at that point is that you're the crazy one.

Seriously, if it weren't for the 'conservative movement' this guy would be blathering about his conspiracy theories inside a rubber room instead of a TV studio.
