Halliburton charged with selling nuclear technology to Iran

Last edited Fri Dec 30, 2011, 05:53 PM - Edit history (2)

It was OK when Reagan sold weapons to Iran, so it must be OK when Cheney does it. As long as you're a Republican it's OK!

Edited to add:
SORRY EVERYBODY- NOT CURRENT
After several expressions of outrage, and someone asking how old this was, I Googled it, and found a New Yourk Times story about this from 2007 (http://www.nytimes.com/2007/05/01/washington/01halliburton.html) This video was posted on YouTube on December 24, but the poster didn't indicate that it was old news.
Sorry!

We gave Halliburton billions of dollars in no-bid contracts for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, and now we tolerate them selling nuclear technology to our avowed enemy, Iran?

I only wish the word "charged" was a more legal definition of what's happening.
That my senator Sherrod Brown. I'll be volunteering all the time I can afford next year to keep him in office.

Although such an award can be a double edged sword here in Ohio, he well deserves recognition for the causes he takes on. He seldom refers to himself as a liberal (of course), but if his lips are moving it's because he's speaking out in favor of the working man and woman.

His wonderful wife Connie Schultz, who pens a left leaning collumn in The Cleveland Plain Dealer, has inspired me so much I've actually written letters thanking her. She did an excellent job on Real Time w/ Bill Maher last year.

What a couple they are!
It's a risky statement these days, but I believe they are the most sincere people in the American political scene. They really do care if people are struggling, and I'm afraid that makes Brown a target for the Tea Party next year.

Thanx for the link!

On edit: I see Ms Schultz has one again resigned her post at The PD as she did in 2007 to focus on the campaign. She has quite an independent resume' herself:

on Halliburton at the end of his questioning of the corporate secretary or whatever she was called. Look at her reaction around 7:50 min. into the video.

We are talking about a company, who knowingly, killed generations of their workers with asbestos because it was cheap, and to come clean would invite the eventual lawsuits that came many decades later. They need to serve time in prison, preferably not one that Halliburton built!

The breaking news trailers talk about who Senator McCain hired for his presidential campaign.

Halliburton has behaved outrageously, but this isn't current news.
