I always ask them what they are going to do with the waste, and what happens if they run out of room for waste.
And what are we going to do with the reactor when it reaches the end of its life? How much is that going to cost, and is is figured into the cost of energy?

The good thing about renewables is that there is ZERO waste!

why by watching what is happening in Japan.

The difference between Germany and the USA is that in Germany's government is helping to lead the way in the same way that FDR's Rural Electrification was done. In the USA we are still subsidizing fossil fuels and expecting individuals to make this huge change.
