This was one big staged intended mess to discredit Bernie's passionate supporters.

Change the rules, strip them of their votes, and complain about what will obviously happen.

since 2008.

The crowd wanted to amend them, but the rules could only be amended by a 2/3 vote. The Bernie campaign controlled only about half of the votes -- not even close to the 2/3 of delegates they would have needed to amend any of the rules.

That's why a voice vote was sufficient. Bernie's half of the delegates weren't enough to push through changes in the rules, no matter how loud his half shouted.

The rules, which can be read here, also state that any amendment attempts must be approved by two-thirds of the convention delegates — which would be difficult given the nearly even number of Clinton and Sanders backers present.

21. Vote stripping? What is that supposed to mean? In the original caucuses, Hillary won

by a margin large enough to give her 20 delegates to Bernie's 15. And that's how many she ended up with. Because even though Bernie's campaign succeeded in packing the county level caucus, hundreds of those delegates didn't show up for the State caucus.

And 98% of Hillary's delegates did show up.

Bernie's people are mad because they weren't able to reverse the original caucus results. And yet they claim to care about democracy.
