As a SANDERSNISTA I totally agree with Mike. You must be really uninformed to say that his statements are Bullshit!! I've watched the MSN beat Bernie to death (whenever they give him some tv time) over shit the Hillary people like you complain about!! Nevada is a good example of the shit the DNC has thrown out there just to bring Bernie down. How many chairs did you see thrown around at that caucus?? ANSWER NONE!! Wasserman Schultz is a Hillary surrogate plain and simple, she wants Hillary to win. To tell you the truth I want Hillary to win if she is our candidate. But, I want her and the DNC, the Main Stream Media and all the other factions of the Hillary campaign to win by playing by the rules!! If that sounds like I'm crying in my Budweiser, so be it. Bernie is the complete candidate to take our country in the direction we want. I can remember when the Democratic Party was the people's party, now, I'm not to sure it ain't the people's party but instead they are the CORPORATE FRIENDLY party.. Hillary is just that.. So go stuff your head where the sun don't shine!!

Nothing will change and the millionaire elites will control everything. The money party spokesman will be either Trump or Clinton and Trump is an idiot totally unqualified to lead a country. He won't win. But we must never stop pushing back against the multimillionaires and Billlionaires who want to control everything turning America into a 3rd world country with slave wage labor. no regulations, and fewer benefits.. Bernie is the first candidate to stand against corporate America and with the working man. He is the example of what we need going forward if we are to progress into a fair society.

Of course you want to have a good argument, if for no other reasons than to see if your opinions can stand the crucible of rhetoric, and hopefully show to your own satisfaction and to your peers that you make reasoned decisions.

BTW - it doesn't help when Sanders refuses to answer legitimate questions posed by the media.

The sooner you recognize it, the better we will all be.

How can anyone approve of our current system? Corruption, Corporation owned politicians, Inequality, etc

I can go on and on. People need to start looking at the long term future, not the short term.

Sometimes, I think, we as a nation are pretty damn stupid. Just to allow the current political situation is absurd.

and Hillary doesn't need to kowtow to Sanders or his followers.

It's simple: Hillary is the D nominee. You can vote for her in the fall or not. It doesn't really matter. If you all want to stay home, Team Clinton will need to work a bit harder to shore up other constituencies to GOTV. If you want to vote for Trump, shame on you.

But please stop the navel gazing that has you all convinced that YOUR votes are so important to Hillary's chances that she needs to bend over backward to win you over. Your votes are a subset of a subset of a subset of the votes that are out there. Most Sanders voters will support Hillary. You want to be the one that doesn't, fine. She wil do it without you.

You don't think a million(or so) votes short will make a difference? I'm shocked at your reply. WOW.

The two candidates are about as different as night and day. And all these people that actually want to truly make a change, are going to just vote for HRC?

It's attitudes like this that are going to destroy any chance of the democrats winning. You keep this attitude, and we'll lose for sure.

Sanders partisans don't even enter into the equation.

You know, we heard how close the race was in 2008 and 2012, and how Obama needed every vote he could get to beat McCain and later, Romney. And what were the EC counts in those two races? Obama - 365, McCain - 173; Obama 332, Romney 206.

Hillary starts off the GE with around 230 secure EC votes. She will need to win a few swing states to win the presidency, and swing states are not where Sanders voters are massed.

No, it's attitudes like YOURS who overestimate the importance of Sanders zealots to the voting process that are shocking. I'm not talking about the 85% of Sanders voters who will vote for Hillary. I'm talking about the zealots who think the Ds need to bend over backward to "earn" their votes. If that's how you feel, don't vote for Hillary. It won't really matter. Sanders zealots constitute a very small percentage of the electorate.

He really does not own them and they are not all inclusive.
There was at one time a rather modest somewhat poor liberal progressive wing of the Democratic Party. They found out that the money has really loosened up.

Look at the priorities. Income inequality vs trade deals. Breaking up the big banks (Clinton's donors) vs just telling them no, don't do that. etc etc etc. The establishment elites who are entrenched in positions of power and those who want to change those positions. Watch the Michael Moore movie "Where to Invade Next" and look at how Italy operates and you will see what our party used to strive for. It will blow your socks off. We can do it too. We are the richest country in the world but the money stays at the top.

you name it. I was a member of the Teamsters when I drove a forklift in a warehouse in Ohio.

I am firmly in the Hillary camp. Sanders is a joke, He no more understands blue collar workers than he does "voters in the deep south," as he disparagingly calls PoC.

Don't flatter yourself by thinking for a moment that you understand the working man, or that Sanders does either. There are a lot of us out here who have been doing politics for well over 40 years, and we're not impressed by a bunch of independent voters - or a Senator, for that matter - who can't be bothered to COMMIT to the Democratic Party, but who for some reason feel entitled to tell we lifelong Democrats who best represents our interests, just because they as an "independent" finally decided to get off their asses and vote for the first time in their lives.
