To me the video shows the brilliance of his mind. It also shows how America has wasted and continues to waste the potential of POC — and not even just POC, but disadvanted whites as well.

With that mental acuity the only opportunity for Ali was in the boxing ring.

Just think of all the minds wasted that might have the potential to cure cancer, to unlock the secret to cheap, renewable energy, and on and on and on.

that's why we need to fix this system that keeps people in poverty and makes moving up too hard, too damned expensive. Too many trapped in poverty or just barely above it.

So I asked for a hotdog and coffee. The waitress said "We don't serve Negroes".

"Well, I don't eat 'em either. Just give me..."

It's very different being around someone who really is mentally and physically tough, not just pretending to it by showing how offended they are. As he shows here, it's a very different experience. He rejuvenates, builds spirit, but most importantly actually causes change. The others, especially today. just bore people.

It's kinda like they said about Malcom X, another person more interested in actual change. He didn't waste time being offended, he went to work on the man.

What role models should be.

He's really got some great quotes.

"Impossible is not a declaration, it's a dare."

I'm not into boxing, so I never really followed him in the news, but now I wish I had. I'm learning what an amazing person he was.
