He's either all mixed up, or he's lying to us.

The rifles commonly purchased that LOOK like assault rifles, are modified for civilian use and lack the selective fire option.

Like any ordinary hunting rifle, they only fire once each time you pull the trigger.

They are make believe assault weapons, like those fiberglass Porsche bodies people use to put on VW beetle chassis. That didn't make a VW beetle into a Porsche.

And neither does an evil looking plastic stock make a gun into an assault rifle.
