Now wouldn't that be something? I'd stay up to watch Joe debate her.

(8,812 posts)Me neither.
He did, but you'd never know it if you were listening to the analysis.
In the same way, when I was still naive, after I saw Kerry debate Bush the first time, I told a close friend that it was such an utter debacle for Bush that I was convinced that he would find a way to avoid subsequent debates. The prospect of his facing Kerry an additional time was unthinkable to me.
I thought I was pretty streetwise and media-savvy at the time. Little did I know.
In the unlikely event that Bachmann is named as the GOP VP candidate, you can count on the Corporate Media to shamelessly spin things on her behalf.

(26,334 posts)the republicans in control in congress would have actually been doing things that was good for the majority in this country rather than what was better for the 1% of this country.

(26,334 posts)an idiot as Sarah is that if she does any interviews it will sink the republicans chances even further to get any independents who have more than 2 active brain cells to vote for Romney.

(24,411 posts)...it's Palin 2.0--stupid, freakishly radical and a gift to all Democrats.
Seriously. Please let it be Romney/Bachman. Please oh please.
So easy to defeat. So fun to watch!
From a strategy point of view---Bachman will sink the campaign. If they're trying to excite their base, they
surely will--while alienating 90 percent of Independents and even some Republicans who know that she's
batshit crazy.
I won't believe that we Democrats will be so lucky--until I see her on the ticket.

(14,177 posts)keep her the heck out of Minnesota forever. I want people to start thinking of her as an Iowan. Because she is. She is from Iowa didn't come here until adulthood. Probably figured it would be easier to be a grifter in Minnesota.

RMoney is stupid, but he can't possibly be that stupid.
It would be funny as hell if he did pick her, though--the SNL skits alone would be hilarious.

Weve been looking at that. And Id love that option as well, Ann responded. There are a lot of people that Mitt is considering right now.
